About Me:

My name is Leah, and I am a designer in Toronto with a passion for art and organization (yes, I seriously do love organization). I value an open-minded and collaborative environment and enjoy all aspects of the design process, whether it’s brainstorming concepts, overseeing project details, or formatting and creating content. From marketing materials to custom illustrations, I’m here to help guide you through the creative process and bring your ideas to life.

Design Process:

Regardless of the project, I always begin with an in-depth discussion to understand the client’s vision, target audience, and brand message. Using this input, I develop design concepts using a range of styles and mockups, allowing the client to visualize the idea and stay involved in the creative process. This encourages collaboration and ensures that everyone is satisfied with the final product.

Image Arts:

My approach consists of brainstorming ideas, organizing design elements, and carefully selecting fonts, colour palettes, and images to bring the visual aspects of each project to life in a coherent and aesthetically pleasing manner. Depending on the desired aesthetic, I may use my own photographs, source stock images, create custom graphics, or draw illustrations by hand.

By combining traditional art with digital art, I blend a variety of illustration styles to create one-of-a-kind images. Whether I’m designing vector-based graphics for marketing materials, or illustrating pages for a children’s book, my goal is to create visuals that bring an idea to life in a fun and creative way.

With a focus on balance, lighting, and visual flow, I create versatile images for a range of mediums, from digital platforms to print materials. Using Lightroom and Photoshop, the image quality is enhanced and any remaining imperfections are removed to ensure seamless integration into the design.
